Research biography

Underpinned by a core value of expansion, my current research portfolio spans three predominant areas with a positive psychology lens: (1) leadership – namely, leadership development, authentic leadership, emotional & social competence, (2) organisational learning & development, and (3) experiential learning in higher education. I currently serve as a Review Editor for Frontiers in Psychology and am accredited in the Emotional & Social Competency Inventory.

Research projects

  • Exploring the interactive role of work engagement and work passion on psychological distress. Strategic Research Grant with Edith Cowan University (Dr Jennifer Lajom & Professor Stephen Teo) and Kyoto University (Professor Moises Kirk). 
  • Digital technologies (CBIM & SNS) in online learning environments. Teaching and learning Grant with Australian Institute of Business (Dr Mahan Poorhosseinzadeh) and Griffith University (Dr Peyman Abkhezr).
