Abstract
In today’s interconnected global economy, organisations operate across diverse industries and regions, each with a distinct set of organisational norms and business practices. In this context, how do two corporate giants operating in the cyber-security industry from different continents govern successful business strategies? This question is explored by comparing the governance structures of the Australian company Telstra Corporation Limited (Telstra) and the Canadian company Blackberry Limited (Blackberry). Three areas are analysed – company origin, business model and national government cyber-security framework alignment.
