Abstract
In recent years, major global events have become constant points of contention in business. From rising tensions between the United States (US) and China to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and the post-pandemic economic business landscape, we are witnessing waves of geopolitical instability. For organisations, this new reality carries a hard truth: strategic plans can be undone by geopolitical events in the blink of an eye. In this volatile climate, effective leadership becomes both a strategic asset and a stabilising force. This article explores key human-centred leadership capabilities, focusing on clarity, connection and courage as critical anchors in stormy waters, and offers three practical strategies that leaders can use to steady geopolitical uncertainty.
