Abstract
Historic places are more than historical artifacts; they are living, evolving entities requiring modern management strategies. This article uses Dr Woods' House Museum as a case study to explore how diversified revenue models, stakeholder engagement, digital innovation, and adaptive governance can enhance resilience and sustainability in heritage management. A performance-based evaluation framework examines how its adaptive reuse potential aligns with five key parameters: economic sustainability, built heritage preservation, socio-cultural value, building usability, and regulatory compliance. This case study offers transferable strategies for integrating resilience into broader operations management by addressing resource constraints, workforce dependencies, and funding challenges.
