Research biography
I am an associate professor at AIB. Previously, I worked at Monash University for eight years and at Murdoch University for three years before joining AIB. I have taught various marketing and business subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the past 20 years in five countries: India, Malaysia, Australia, Finland and Singapore.
I am a passionate educator and committed researcher. My primary research interest is in environmental marketing, sustainability, and ethical marketing, and I believe our research outputs meaningfully contribute to the sustainable development of communities. My research has appeared in many business journals, including the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Destination Marketing and Management, Journal of Macromarketing, Business Strategy and the Environment, Ergonomics, and Journal of International Consumer Marketing, to name a few.
I consider myself a people-oriented, friendly and creative person. I trust that there is a simple way to explain, understand and interpret anything seemingly complex around us. This philosophy guides my teaching, research, and academic services.
