I am a seasoned academic in human resource management and leadership with a robust background in both teaching and research. Over the past 17 years, I have significantly contributed to advancing HR practices, leadership, and organizational behaviors. My academic credentials include a PhD in Business Management, a Master's in Philosophy (MPhil) in Management, an MBA in Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM), and a Fellowship in Higher Education (FHEA) from the UK.

Currently, I am pursuing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, underscoring my unwavering commitment to professional development and lifelong learning. My passion for scholarly research is reflected in my growing portfolio of publications, which exemplifies my dedication to excellence in my field.

In addition to my academic endeavors, I am an active member of the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI) and serve as a reviewer for the Journal of Organisational Effectiveness: People and Performance. These roles allow me to stay at the forefront of industry trends and contribute to the ongoing dialogue in HR and leadership.

Research interests

My research interests primarily focus on the multifaceted dimensions of Human Resource practices, with a keen emphasis on Emotional Intelligence, Ethical Leadership, Employee Retention, Peer Emotional Support, and the phenomenon of Quiet Quitting. I am particularly fascinated by the future demands within the HR landscape and the evolving paradigms of leadership, highlighting the crucial role of emotional intelligence in effective leadership.

Moreover, I am deeply interested in exploring the underlying factors that drive employees to quietly quit their workplaces and identifying potential strategies for mitigating this issue. Additionally, I aim to investigate the impact of peer emotional support on employee well-being, considering how supportive interpersonal relationships at work can enhance overall job satisfaction and performance.
