Personal profile

Research biography

My principal research focus is leadership and leadership development. In particular, I am interested in (1) leadership and executive coaching, its efficacy and mechanisms, (2) the design, implementation, and evaluation of leadership development interventions, and (3) relational and social theories of leadership effectiveness, emergence, and development . My research is underpinned, and strongly influenced, by an interest in human relations, interpersonal dynamics, and the role of unconscious processes in organisational contexts.

In my professional life, I am a leadership and organisational development consultant, as well as Head of Partnerships, at Pillar Leaders. I have extensive experience in leadership coaching, leadership training, and organisational culture transformation. Alongside my consulting work, I have served on the Boards or Board sub-committees of Alcoholics Anonymous Australia, Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic), and the Young & Well Cooperative Research Centre.
