Personal profile

Research biography

I am a Lecturer (Supply Chain and Project Management Discipline) at AIB.

Before entering academia, I worked as an engineering manager in the IT/telecommunications sector for nearly a decade, managing, improving, and designing operations and leading a range of projects, including new product launch, R&D software development, infrastructure deployment, and disaster recovery projects. I was awarded the Chartered Engineer [CEng] status in recognition of the contribution made to the industry through developing innovative engineering and business solutions.

Over the last decade, I have been involved with teaching, research, and consultancy in several management disciplines, including operations management, project management, strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, and management education, attached to several universities in the UK and Australia. My academic research and pedagogical innovations aim to integrate critical thinking, strategic thinking and systems thinking into these management disciplines, thus promoting the same among professionals, executives and organisations operating in highly dynamic, complex, and disruptive business environments.
