Research biography

I am a Lecturer in Finance at Australian Institute of Business (AIB). I completed my Doctorate (PhD) in Accounting and Finance from University School of Financial Studies, Guru Nanak Dev University (India), Master of Commerce from University School of Financial Studies, Guru Nanak Dev University (India) and Bachelor of Commerce from University School of Financial Studies, Guru Nanak Dev University (India). I have over 10 years of academic experience, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in both face to face and online environment.

I am very passionate about delivering quality education to my students. I have been engaged in teaching several Finance and Accounting subjects including Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Corporate Accounting, Financial Accounting, Quantitative techniques in Finance, Financial Markets and Institutions, Investment Management.

Prior to joining AIB, I have been engaged in teaching at University of South Australia; University School of Financial studies, Guru Nanak Dev University, India and BBK DAV College for Women, India. I am an active researcher and have co-authored research publications in refereed journals. My research primarily focuses on Corporate Reputation, Gender Diversity, Corporate Social Responsibility, Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Corporate Governance. I have also served as an ad-hoc reviewer of refereed Journals. I am also a lifetime member of Indian Commerce Association.
